His last feature length video was purchased by the Museum of Modern Art in New York and has toured through the United States. Alex Poruchnyk teaches at the University of Manitoba's School of Art.

Mary Louise Chown is a visual artist, teacher and story teller; combining stories with art and music. She has told stories at the Winnipeg Art Gallery, the Fringe Festival and the Winnipeg Folk Festival. she has performed at storytelling festivals across Canada over the last 10 years. She also works with the Manitoba Arts Council as a visiting artist in schools across Manitoba. She is often heard telling stories on CBC radio and she has produced the storytelling audio tape "North From Center". " Doing Time" is her first experience telling a story in video format.While obtaining a Bachelors degree from the University of Winnipeg in Stage Management and Religious Studies, Joanna Quanbury worked as everything from a store clerk to a group home worker and also traveled extensively in Europe, the Middle East and Asia. With the life experience gained from such diversity, she is now ready to embark on a creative journey into film making. By taking advantage of the increased film production in Manitoba. Joanna is getting valuable on set experience but would ultimately like to take on the more creative role of directing. "Doing Time" is her first creative exploration into the art of video and film making.

Helma Rogge Rehders was born and educated in Germany. She moved to Canada in 1971 and received her BFA Honours in 1987 from the University of Manitoba School of Art. Rehders is known for her landscape painting in mixed media.

Rempel, Ken
Ken Rempel started out in the drama program of his high school, helping to build sets and run lights for the performances. He continued this trend by obtaining a Diploma in Theatre Production from Grant and MacEwan Community College in Edmonton. Working for a few years as a technician in theatre, he landed a job in the Art Department at ITV in Edmonton and learned about film and television on the job. Ken currently works as an Art Director in the Television and Film Industry. Charles is his first film as a writer, director and producer.

Don Rice is a digital media artist based in Winnipeg. Rice has created work in the mediums of video, world wide web, print, audio, cd rom, performance and photography. The main body of his work is in video and web. The most recent of his works are videos generated entirely by computer, without the use of a video camera to capture any of the images.

Robinson, Dave
Dave Robinson is a recent graduate of the film and video program at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology with previous studies in sculpture at Simon Fraser University in 1986. He wrote and self-published two successful guidebooks on rock climbing: Jasper Sport Climbing(1994) and Jasper Rock (1999). Along side his film and video work, Dave works with photography and composes audio art which compliment his love affair of the outdoors and writing. His poetry has been published in the magazine Irreverence, a free Calgary based magazine of creative writing. Dave is actively involved in the media centers in Calgary , Alberta as an artist and volunteer as well as a board member of EMMEDIA . He has created five independent experimental and documentary videos on underground cultures which have screened in Canada.
